TEAM LEAGUE RULES


1. Teams are to consist of three members, plus one reserve who may fish when one or more of
 the team is unable to fish.
2. Teams may not be changed after the competition has started but, if at later date a team
member has to resign through unforseen circumstances, another person may take his/her place,
provided that he /she has not fished for another team If any team changes are made .Team
League administrator must be informed . The team member who resigns is not allowed to fish
in the league for the.rest of the year.
3. Fishing times for Fixed and Roving Competitions 7pm till 10-30pm
4. Weigh-in for all venues will be at Headquarters last bag 10-30pm
5. Bags will be weighed per team and not individually
5. Teams will select their own Best Specimen prior to weigh-in
7. A maximum of 12 fish of each species may be caught by each team member.
8. Sections    1 Top weight of conger
                     2 Top weight of other fish
                     3 Best specimen fish
                     4 Greatest number of fish
                     5. Greatest number of species
9. Three points will be awarded to the winning team in each section, two points for the second
and one point for the third.(Teams may pick up points in all sections). One bonus point will be
awarded to each team for attendance at the weigh-in.
10. Teams must fish to N.F.S.A. Minimum and Specimen sizes.
11 Organisation of the competition will be by the Committee
12 Entry fee will be £ 24 per team - 3 persons per team and 1 reserve maximum.
13. Fish must be brought back to the weigh-in by a team member who has fished the venue.
 Also one representative per team must be in a attendance in the weigh-in room to obtain
attendance point, and check fishing points awarded .
14. Annual awards will be given to the 1st team (greatest number of points), 2nd team (second
greatest number'of points). 1s1 team with greatest number of species, and the 'Dave Trent
Memorial Trophy' for the individual with the best specimen fish, plus an award for the team
with the least amount of points (minimum lO points).
15. In roving competitions, competitors may fish anywhere in Dorset accessible to the general
public, with the exception of Pulpit Rock which is banned from team league.
16. In fixed venue competitions all team members are to meet in the Car park prior to the start
of the match and must not leave until 6-45pm . If venue is deemed to be unfishable by those
taking part it will be declared a roving competition.
17. Any fish brought to the scales 12mm or more undersize, shall be weighed and twice the
weight of these fish will be deducted from the total bag weight, apart from fish with minimum
weight.
18. Any team members bag containing more than the allotted number of species (12 per team
member) all of (hat Species will be disqualified from the team bag.
19. There will be eleven competitions which will be fished on the forth Thursday of consecutive
months, five fixed venues and six roving competitions
20. ONE ROD ONLY TO BE USED with a maximum of (3) three hooks.

Anyone interested in forming a team of 3 plus 1 reserve, will be very welcome, the more teams entering, the more interesting the competition.
