Congratulations Sam Short

EFSA Junior Boat Champion 2009

Sam Short, aged 12, a pupil of Wey Valley School and a member of Weymouth Angling Society, has won the English Junior section of the European Federation of Sea Anglers Boat Championships held in Rhyl. Sam, also a member of Atlanta Boat Fishing Club became the Junior Champion with a score of 65 points which left him 37 overall in the whole competition. He was also a member of the Executive Fours along with Steve Clements( England), Marcus Wuerst( Germany) and Steve Souter( Scotland) that won the Gold Medal.
